On Tuesday, the 9th of November, Telangana reported 173 new cases with one death and 168 recoveries. The new cases were confirmed by conducting 40,797 sample tests for the COVID-19 infection. After conducting below 40,000 tests for COVID-19, on Tuesday, the State Health Department conducted more than 40,000 sample tests for COVID-19. With the rise in the sample tests, the number of single day Wuhan virus cases also increased by 12 cases in the past 24 hours.

With the tests conducted in the past 24 hours, the State Health Department conducted 2,78,39,955 COVID-19 tests till date.

The aforementioned data was confirmed through a health bulletin, released by the Telangana Health Department, on a regular basis. The media bulletin of the State Health Department which is being released in the evenings regularly, updates about the COVID-19 situation in Telangana.

According to the COVID-19 data, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) is the only area, which reports more than 50 cases regularly. Yesterday the GHMC limit reported 61 new COVID-19 cases, which increased by 11 cases compared to previous day’s single day cases which was 50.

Besides the GHMC limit, Adilabad reported one COVID-19 cases, 3 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 2 from Jagtial, 3 from Jangaon, 1 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 12 from Karimnagar, 6 from Khammam, 4 from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 2 each from Mahabubnagar and Mahabubabad, 4 from Mancherial, 3 from Medak, 13 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 8 from Nalgonda, 1 from Nirmal, 3 from Nizamabad, 6 from Peddapalli, 12 from Ranga Reddy, 9 from Sangareddy,1 from Siddipet, 2 from Suryapet, 1 from Warangal Rural, 9 from Warangal Urban and 4 from Warangal Urban.

With this, Telangana now has 6,72,823 positive cases, of which 3,754 are active cases, 6,65,101 are recovered/discharged cases and 3,968 are deceased.

The recovery rate of Telangana is at 98.85% and the fatality rate of COVID-19 remained constant for the past five months at 0.58 %.
