On Wednesday, the 10th of November, Telangana reported 164 new cases with one death and 171 recoveries. The new cases were confirmed by conducting 38,242 sample tests for the COVID-19 infection. After conducting above 40,000 tests for COVID-19, on Wednesday, the State Health Department once again conducted fewer than 40,000 sample tests for COVID-19.
With the tests conducted in the past 24 hours, the State Health Department conducted 2.79 crores COVID-19 tests till date.
The aforementioned data was confirmed through a health bulletin, released by the Telangana Health Department, on a regular basis. The media bulletin of the State Health Department which is being released in the evenings regularly, updates about the COVID-19 situation in Telangana.
According to the COVID-19 data, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) is the only area, which reports more than 50 cases regularly. Yesterday the GHMC limit reported 55 new COVID-19 cases.
With this, Telangana now has 6,72,987 positive cases, of which 3,746 are active cases, 6,65,272 are recovered/discharged cases and 3,969 are deceased.
The recovery rate of Telangana is at 98.85% and the fatality rate of COVID-19 remained constant for the past five months at 0.58 %.
