The Wuhan virus, also known as COVID-19 cases, are constantly rising in the Telugu State of Telangana. On the 10th of January, Monday, the State reported 1,825 new cases of the Wuhan virus.

On the evening of Monday, the Telangana Health Department, released a health bulletin and confirmed 1,825 new cases, 1 fatality and 351 recoveries from the deadly virus. The new figures of the Wuhan virus were confirmed after the State Health Department conducted 70,697 tests for COVID-19. Of the total tests conducted, 1,825 tested positive and results of 12,948 are awaited.

In addition, of the total cases, the highest number of Wuhan virus cases were from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) with 1,042 positive infections. Besides GHMC, Medchal-Malkajgiri and Rangareddy also reported 201 and 147 cases, respectively.

With this, Telangana has 6,95,855 positive cases, of which 6,76,817 recovered/discharged, 14,995 are active cases and 4,043 are deceased cases, till date.

On the other hand, not only Wuhan virus cases, but its new variant Omicron is also massively rising in the Telugu State.
