The Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases is declining in the Telugu State of Telangana.

On the 10th of February, Thursday, Telangana reported 767 new Wuhan virus cases, 98 less than the cases reported on the 9th of February (865.) With the declined cases, the active caseload has also been reduced to 17,754, as of now.

The aforementioned data was confirmed after conducting 58,749 sample tests, of which results of 1,590 samples are awaited. Moreover, with the new tests, the Wuhan virus tests tally 3.28 crores.

In addition, of the new cases, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) reported 228 cases, followed by Ranga Reddy (52,) Medchal-Malkajgiri (54), and Sangareddy (24.)

Besides new Wuhan virus cases, the State also registered 2 deaths, 2,861 recoveries in the past 24 hours. With this, Telangana currently has 4,105 deaths and 7,59,744 recoveries. With this, the recovery rate currently stands at 97.20% while the fatality rate stands at 0.53%.

Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao confirmed the Wuhan virus data and released a media health bulletin, on the evening of the 10th of February.
