On the 4th of February, Sunday, the Telugu State of Telangana, reported as many as 2,387 new Wuhan virus cases, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.)

Notably, after the recent rise in the cases, the Telugu state reported a decline with below 2,500 cases. In addition to new cases, Telangana recorded 1 death and 4,559 recoveries.

According to sources, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) reported the highest number of cases with 688 cases, followed by Medchal Malkajgiri with 131 cases and Rangareddy district with 131 cases. The total new cases were confirmed after conducting 1,01,812 tests, taking the tally to 3,18,77,830.

With this, Telangana currently has 30,931 active cases of the Wuhan virus, 4,097 dead cases, and 7,39,187 recovered cases with a 95.48% recovery rate and 0.53% fatality rate.
