The Telangana Health department released a media bulletin on the night of the 24th of July, briefing about the Novel Coronavirus cases in the State.
According to the released media bulletin, Till 8:00 A.M., of the 25th of July, the State has a total of 52,466 positive cases.
In the last 24 hours, Telangana reported 1,640 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19. In addition, 8 new fatalities and 1,007 recoveries were also reported.
Out of the 1,640 new Covid-19 infections, areas under GHMC reported 683 positive cases while 135 cases were reported from Rangareddy. The GHMC and Rangareddy is one of the containment zones in Telangana.
With these updates, the State has 52,466 positive cases, 11,677 active cases, 40,334 recovered or discharged cases and 455 Fatalities.
Despite a daily spike in the COVID-19 cases, Telangana has 76% recovery rate, 3% average growth of the COVID-19 cases, 0.87 mortality rate and 22.26 % active cases rate.
In addition,till date, the Telangana health authorities conducted 3,37,771 sample tests for COVID-19, with a cumulative positivity rate of 15. 5 %.
