On the 29th of January, Saturday, the Telugu State of Telangana, reported as many as 3,877 new Wuhan virus cases, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.)

Notably, the cases are rising everyday with a huge surge.  In addition, Telangana recorded 2 deaths and 2,981 recoveries.

According to sources, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) reported the highest number of cases with 1,189 cases, followed by Medchal Malkajgiri with 348 cases and Rangareddy district with 241 cases.  The total new cases were confirmed after conducting 1,01,812 tests, taking the tally to 3,18,77,830.

With this, Telangana currently has 40,414 active cases of the Wuhan virus, 4,083 dead cases and 7,10,479 recovered cases with 95.75% recovery rate.
