Amid the recent surge in COVID-19 cases, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) reimposed mandatory face masks in the national capital.

On April 20, the DDMA and Delhi held a meeting and announced to impose a Rs 500 fine for violators of face mask COVID-19 protocol.

Furthermore, as of now, there is no decision on the closure of schools and other places, but new SOPs for functioning with official guidelines.

The decision was taken as per the discussions over a meeting held between the Aam Aadmi Party led Delhi Government and the DDMA officials, on the afternoon of the 20th of April, Wednesday.
