Former prime minister Manmohan Singh on the 29th of was discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi. He was admitted to the facility after testing positive for COVID-19.

Former Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh tested positive for coronavirus disease (Covid-19) on the 19th of April. He was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi for treatment.

The Indian National Congress (INC) leader was undergoing treatment and was being monitored by a team of specialists.

Manmohan Singh had earlier attended the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting on Saturday and even wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, suggesting a five-pronged strategy to check the spread of the infection.
