India reported 1,94,720 fresh COVID-19 cases, on January 12, which is 15.8% higher than yesterday’s 1.68 lakh single day cases. It also registered 442 fatalities, taking the tally to 4,84,655 and active cases to 9,55,319 till date, with a weekly positivity rate of 11%. Besides, the nation has registered 4,868 cases of Omicron, so far. Notably, India administered 153 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses to people under the nationwide vaccination drive.
