On the 20th of December, Tuesday, India has recorded 112 new Wuhan virus (COVID-19) cases with 3 fatalities.

The constant fall in the daily cases lead to a decrease in the tally of active cases, across India.  As of now, India has only 3,490 active Wuhan virus cases, confirmed the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on the 20th of December.

Furthermore, the nation’s cumulative Wuhan virus tally is at 4,46,76,199, whereas the death cases toll is at 5,30,677.  In addition, the number of people who have recuperated from the disease surged to 4,41,42,032,

Compared to China, which is witnessing a surge in the cases, India has the least number of daily Wuhan virus cases.  In China the number of COVID-19 cases are rising massively with hospitals flooded with patients.  However, in India the Wuhan virus is under control with 0.01% active cases, 98.80% recovery rate and fatality rate at 1.19%.

Meanwhile, approximately 220 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered to people under the nationwide vaccination drive.
