Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi, on the 10th of June, will conduct a meeting with all the Central Government secretaries, in Delhi.

According to the sources, the meeting will be held on the evening of the 10th of June. Mr. Modi will chair the meeting and discuss various issues related to the new Government of India and bureaucracy.

This is the first meeting with the secretaries of the Central Government after the formation of the Government of India (GoI) by the Modi led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP.)

During the meeting, Mr. Modi will also discuss the agenda of the Government with the active involvement of the secretaries.

An official of the Modi Government, who wished to remain anonymous, said, “This is a healthy practice as the bureaucracy gets a clear understanding of the priorities of the top political executive.”

All the Government secretaries, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a few Cabinet Ministers of Modi’s Cabinet will be present at the meeting.
