K.T. Rama Rao (KTR,) the Working President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) said, by winning 16 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana, TRS will become a kingmaker in Delhi.

On the 29th of March, KTR addressed a public meeting in Yellareddypet of Rajanna Siricilla district, Telangana. During the rally, KTR appealed to the people to vote for the TRS and promised them the Party will bring a change in the State.

K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the Chief Minister of Telangana, wanted a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Indian National Congress (INC) free India, following which, he initiated a third front party. However, the agenda was not met as the other regional parties refused to form an alliance with the TRS and stand as a third front in the Lok Sabha elections.

Though the TRS is not going to stand as a third front Party against the INC and the BJP, the Party is confident about winning 16 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana.

KTR also mentioned some of the development projects in the State which are pending because the Central Government did not sanction them.

KTR said, if the TRS comes to power, the Party will make sure the Central Government sanctions funds for the development projects in the State.

Telangana will contest a total of 17 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, scheduled on the 11th of April.

The major parties contesting the Telangana Lok Sabha elections are the INC, the BJP and the TRS.
