N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister (CM) of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 6th of April, alleged the Election Commission of India (ECI) of working as per the orders of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Mr. Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) addressed a meeting with the Party workers in Undavalli, Guntur district and said, the ECI is in the hands of PM Modi.

Naidu said, after the Enforcement Directorate (ED,) the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Income Tax (IT) Department, now the ECI is also following the orders of PM Modi.

Naidu further added, Modi is misusing independent investigation firms for winning the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Naidu directed the TDP workers and leaders to keep an eye on all the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and the ECI during the polls.

Naidu then targeted Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the President of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) and said, the YSRCP wants to come to power through illegal political activities.

Naidu criticised the growing friendship between the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the YSRCP and stated, the friendship is nothing but an attempt to help Jagan Mohan Reddy become the next CM of AP.
