Mr. Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy, the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Udayagiri fell ill and admitted to Nellore Apollo Hospital.

According to sources, the  71 year old Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) leader was admitted to hospital on the 8th of February, Wednesday.  It is reported that he suffered heart attack and is currently receiving treatment there.

Meanwhile, the doctors found that two valves in the heart were blocked. There are chances of him being shifted to Chennai or Hyderabad for better treatment.

Recently, Mr. Mekapati Chandrasekhar made headlines after he criticised the ruling party in the case of Udayagiri YSRCP coordinator. Finally, his request was granted and a new coordinator was appointed.
