Chirla Jaggi Reddy, the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Kothapet, East tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
On the 31st of August, Mr. Reddy confirmed that he has been tested positive for the deadly virus.
However, Chirla Jaggi Reddy, a member of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) is having mild symptoms of the Novel Coronavirus. He is advised to be currently in home isolation and appears to be receiving treatment at home.
MLA Chirla Jaggireddy also suggested that the leaders and activists who met him during the last week should also stay in the home quarantine and undergo tests if necessary.
On the other hand, the number of COVID-19 cases in Andhra Pradesh reached 4,24,767 till date.
Of the total cases, 3,21,754 have recovered whereas 99,129 are active cases and 3,969 are deceased.
