Y.S.Vivekananda Reddy, a member of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) passed away, on the 15th of March, in Pulivendula of Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh.

Vivekananda Reddy, 68 years old, was found dead at his home during the early hours of Friday (the 15th of March.) According to doctors, Mr. Reddy died due to a cardiac arrest.

Vivekananda Reddy is the younger brother of Y.S. Rajashekara Reddy, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, and the uncle of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the President of the YSRCP.

Vivekananda Reddy started his political career in 1989, when he was elected as the Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the Pulivendula constituency.

Reddy was twice elected as the Member of Parliament for the Kadapa constituency in the 1999 and 2004 Lok Sabha elections.

Reddy is survived by his wife, Y.S. Sowbhagya, and daughter. The last rites of Vivekananda Reddy are likely to be performed in Idupulapaya.
