Dr. E.C. Gangi Reddy, the father in law of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, passed away.

Mr. Gangi Reddy passed away in the middle of the night on the 3rd of October at the Continental Hospital, Hyderabad.

Mr. Gangi Reddy was admitted at Continental Hospital, Hyderabad a few days ago due to prolonged illness.

According to sources, after the demise, the mortal remains of E.C. Gangi Reddy was shifted to Gollalagudur village of Vemula Mandal in the Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh.

Dr. E.C. Gangi Reddy was one of the leading doctors in Pulivendula. He also served as a Member of Parliament (MP) of Pulivendula parliament constituency from 2001-2005.

Dr. Reddy was also popular as the poor man’s doctor and always helped needy people.  

The last rites of Dr. Reddy are scheduled to be held at 12:00 P.M., on the 3rd of October.
