According to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would visit Visakhapatnam to visit exhibition stalls set up by the ‘Parley for the Ocean’ organisation. Notably, the Parlay for the Ocean organisation is undertaking a beach cleaning program to set a Guinness record.  The beach will be cleaned from 6:00 A.M., to 8:00 A.M., on the 26th of August, with the cooperation of the GVMC.

District Collectorate and other voluntary organizations woud participate in the program, to collect plastic and other waste along the beach from RK Beach to Bhimili along a stretch of about 28 km.  A total of 20,000 volunteers will participate in this program.

The beach conservation programs and stalls set up by the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) is regarding plastic control in the City.  During the event, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy along with the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) officials would sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the beach conservation with the representatives of the Parle organisation. 

In addition, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would reach the AU Convocation Hall in Siripuram and award certificates to 5,000 graduated students, who have completed their diploma courses provided by Microsoft.  After that, he would address the students.  After attending all the scheduled events, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would leave for Gannavaram at 12:40 P.M. 

It is to be noted, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s visit arrangements were reviewed by the Chief Minister Programs Committee Coordinator Mr. Talashila Raghuram, Minister Mr. Gudivada Amarnath, Collector of Visakhapatnam Dr. Mallikarjuna and Commissioner of Police (CP) Mr. Srikanth.
