Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) is scheduled to visit Guntur, on the 1st of January, Saturday.

During the visit, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would inaugurate distribution of hiked pension events, and hold review meetings.

All the necessary arrangements of the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s visit are being done under the supervision of Ms. Mekathoti Sucharita, the Home Minister of Andhra Pradesh.  The Home Minister was accompanied by the Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) Mr. Thalashila Raghuram, Ms. Lella Appireddy, the District Collector Mr. Vivek Yadav and the Urban District Superintendent of Police (SP) Mr. Arif Hafeez to inspect the helipad space, vehicle parking, and assembly hall arrangements. 

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister is scheduled to visit Pratipada and launch a hike in pension for the eligible people of Andhra Pradesh.  Notably, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government announced a hike of pension to Rs. 2,500 from current Rs. 2,250.

The enhanced pension will be given to the eligible elderly people in January 2022.
