Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is scheduled to visit Delhi, on the 2nd of June.

According to sources, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) President would leave for Delhi on the morning of Thursday.  He is scheduled to meet Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India and Mr. Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister of India.

During his Delhi tour, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would brief the union ministers and PM Mr. Narendra Modi about his recent Davos tour, where he attended the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2022.  Notably, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy returned from Davos, on the 30th of May, Monday.  Furthermore, within a couple of days of Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s return, he announced to visit Delhi. 

The Delhi tour on the 2nd of June, Thursday, is said to be important, as during the visit, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would be discussing the Centre’s funding to the State of Andhra Pradesh.  The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister would also discuss the initiative to resolve the pending disputes with its neighbouring Telugu state of Telangana.
