YS Jagan Mohan Reddy To Lay Foundation Stone For Steel Plant In Kadapa

Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is all set to visit Kadapa district, on the 15th of February, Wednesday.

During the visit, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister would lay the foundation stone for a stell factory at Sunnapurallapalle.  After laying the foundation stone, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would travel to Pulivendula, to attend a wedding reception.

The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) released the schedule of Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, according to which, he would leave his Tadepalli residence at 9: A.M., and reach Sunnapuralpalle of Jammalamadugu Mandal around 11:00 A.M.  There, Mr. Y.S> Jagan Mohan Reddy would participate in a Bhumi Puja and unveil the stone plaques related to JSW Steel Plant.   

It is to be noted, the JSW Steel Plant is investing in the steel factory, which would be constructed in the Sunnapurallapalle region. For the construction of the steel plant, a total of 3,295 acres have been acquired for the project in the Jammalamadugu area.  The company announced investing of Rs. 8,800 crores, in two phases.  In the first phase, JSW Steel Limited would invest Rs. 3,300 crores and the steel factory would produce one million tonnes of steel.  In the second phase, the remaining investment would be made, with the rise in the production of steel to two million tonnes.  In addition, the steel plant would also create employment to the residence of Kadapa district.  Approximately 6,500 people would get jobs after the construction of the steel plant.

Meanwhile, speaking of Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s scheduled, after the Bhumi Puja, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would attend a meeting on steel plant infrastructure.  Later, he would attend the wedding reception of Mr. Muli Balarami Reddy’s son at the SCSR function hall in Pulivendula.

Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to return to Tadepalli, on the evening of the 15th of February, Wednesday.
