Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) is scheduled to visit Visakhapatnam, on the 13th of July.
According to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would arrive at Visakhapatnam airport at 10:30 A.M., on 13th of July. During the visit, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would distribute the Vahanmitra Scheme cheques to beneficiaries.
Under the scheme, commercial auto and taxi drivers would get financial assistance of Rs. 10,000 per year from the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government in Andhra Pradesh. The scheme was designed under the leadership of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, to benefit drivers of the State. To avail the benefits of the scheme, all the drivers of the State were asked to submit their Aadhaar Card, white ration card, vehicle registration certificate, driving license and bank passbook. Drivers who belong to Scheduled Castes (SCs,) Scheduled Tribes (STs,) Backward Classes (BCs) and minorities are required to submit their caste certificates, along with the aforementioned certificates.
During the visit, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would go to Andhra University Engineering College ground at 11:00 A.M., and visit the stalls from 11:05 A.M., to 11:15 A.M. Later, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would view the YSR Vahana Mitra photo exhibition, along with a photo session with the beneficiaries of YSR Vahana Mitra.
As per the CMO released schedule, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would also give speeches, video presentations on the topic of Vahana Mitra.
Later, during the event, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy would distribute the cheques to YSR Vahanamitra beneficiaries.
