Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, responded to the speculated alliances of opposition parties for the 2024 State Assembly elections.

Addressing a public meeting in Vinukonda region, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said, “All the wolves are coming together and he is fighting them as a lion on behalf of the people.”

Taking a dig at the opposition parties, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said, the main objective of the opposition parties like the Telugu Desam Party, the Bharatiya Janata Party and the JanaSena Party is to rob, share and eat.  Not naming Mr. Pawan Kalyan, the Chief of the JanaSena Party, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said, “Adopted son who said he would question is working for Chandrababu Naidu.”

During the public meeting, the State CM also rubbished the claims of the opposition leaders that Andhra Pradesh would soon become Sri Lanka, financially unstable facing economic crisis.  The opposition leaders said under the rule of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) the Telugu State of Andhra Pradesh would also have fate like Sri Lanka.

However, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said, the State is doing great and have stood among top states in GDP rankings in India.

It is to be noted that major political parties in Andhra Pradesh are making efforts to strengthen themselves in the Telugu State, which is scheduled to hold its assembly elections in 2024.
