On the 8th of July, the Andhra Pradesh Government celebrated  Farmer’s Day, on the birth anniversary of late Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and the father of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the CM Of A.P.

Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy visited YSR Ghat in Idupulapaya, the birth place of late YS Rajasekhara Reddy in Kadapa and paid tribute to his late father.

Jagah Mohan Reddy took to Twitter and said, “He (YS Rajasekhara Reddy) will live in the hearts of people through the health schemes, 104, 108 ambulance services and farmer-friendly schemes.”

The birth anniversary of late Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy, the 8th of July, is celebrated as Farmers’ day in Andhra Pradesh since 2019.

On this occassion,  the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) launched 412 new ambulances  under the ‘Dial 108’ emergency service. 

The Party also launched and 656 new mobile medical units under 104 services.

In addition, many YSRCP leaders paid their tribute to YS Rajasekhara Reddy on social media.

Botcha Satyanarayana, a Cabinet minister of Andhra Pradesh said, “YS Rajasekhara Reddy created a “long-lasting transformational impact with various reforms…He will always be remembered and cherished in people’s heart.”

Twitter is also flooded with wishes remembering late Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy on his 71st birth anniversary.
