Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh(A.P,.) started his tour to flood affected regions of the State.

On the 2nd of December, the State Chief Minister visited Kadapa district to review flood affected regions, amid heavy rain.  During the tour, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy interacted with affected farmers and visited the breached roads.  He also conducted a review meeting with the officials of Kadapa district on the relief measures taken there.  In addition, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government also announced several relief measures and relief schemes for the people of flood affected regions. 

 

While today, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy toured YSR Kadapa district, on Friday, the 3rd of December, the State CM would visit Chittoor and Nellore districts. 

 

Due to heavy rainfall in the past two weeks, many coastal regions of Andhra Pradesh including Kadapa, Nellore, Chittoor and others withessed flood like situation, property damages and loss of lives.  The constant rainfall and thunder created disturbance in the regular living of people.  The rain-like situation is expected to continue until the 5th to 6th of December, amid Cyclone Jawad.  The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an alert to states like Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.
