Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,)  met with the Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi, on the 4th of July, Monday.

Notably, on Monday Mr. Narendra Modi visited Andhra Pradesh’s Bhimavaram, to participate in the 125th birth anniversary celebration of freedom fighter Alluri Sitaram Raju.  During the visit, Mr. Narendra Modi participated in the event, addressed a public meeting and met with the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister.

During the special meeting, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy asked Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi to accord Special Category Status to the State.  He further requested PM Narendra Modi to fulfil other promises made according to Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014.

In addition, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy handed over a letter to Mr. Narendra Modi, at the Gannavaram Airport.  In the letter, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy requested to allot funds for the development of the Telugu State.  He also gave a warm send off to Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi at the airport.
