Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 10th of October, launched a welfare scheme for the people of Andhra Pradesh.

Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the Kanti Velugu scheme, which aims to provide free eye checkup for people across Andhra Pradesh. 

Mr. Mohan launched the scheme on World Vision Day, the 10th of October, at the playground of the Government Junior College for Boys in Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh.

Jagan Mohan Reddy also distributed free spectacles to students with poor eyesight and conducted eye checkup camps.

Later, the AP Chief Minister visited the YSR Aarogyasri, Amma Vodi and Poshan Abhiyan camps, which were organised by the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) on the premises of the college.

In the past few days, the YSRCP Government, under the leadership of Jagan Mohan Reddy, launched several schemes for the benefit of the citizens of Andhra Pradesh.

YSRCP ministers, workers, activists and other officials of the Anantapur district attended the launch event.
