Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) inaugurated 26 tourist police stations across Andhra Pradesh.

On the 14th of February, Tuesday, the State CM inaugurated the stations, aiming to ensure the safety of tourists in the Telugu State.  The inauguration event was held at the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Camp Office in Tadepalli, Andhra Pradesh.  Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy waved a flag virtually from the camp office, inaugurating all 26 stations. 

Speaking on this occasion, the Andhra Pradesh CM said “Another good program has been undertaken under the auspices of the police department.” 

The tourist police station is one of its kind initiative taken by the Andhra Pradesh Government.  The booths would have support facilities for pilgrims coming for darshan at the Tirupati temple and other places in the Telugu State.  Furthermore, the police stations would also have receptionists and would help those stuck in any kind of situation, seeking police help.
