Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) on the 8th of April, conducted a review meeting over the COVID-19 vaccine.

Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy held a high-level meeting with officials  and directed them to focus more on the COVID-19 vaccination. Concerned about the increasing number of Novel Coronavirus cases, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government also made possible arrangements for the vaccination drive and took necessary measurements to control the spread of the virus.

Jagan Mohan Reddy said, Another lockdown will have adverse impact on state’s finances.”  He said Andhra Pradesh suffered a loss of Rs. 21,000 crores because of the Nationwide lockdown imposed to stop the spread of the Novel Coronavirus pandemic.

The CM directed the police officials to be strict with those who are not wearing face masks in public places.

Y.S. Jagan Reddy directed the health officials to ensure 4 lakh vaccine doses are made available every day in rural areas and 2 lakh doses in urban centres.
