Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, disbursed the funds of the Jagananna Amma Vodi funds.

Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) President released the amount into the accounts of the beneficiary mothers, on the 28th of June, Wednesday.

Launched in 2020, the Jagananna Amma Vodi Scheme would benefit single mothers of Andhra Pradesh, who would send their wards to the school at Kurupam in Vizianagaram district.  As part of the scheme, Rs. 15,000 would be deposited into the accounts of 42,61,965 mothers as financial assistance. 

During the Amma Vodi Scheme funds release, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy appreciated the scheme which helped many students to have their education.  Furthermore, the YSRCP President slammed the opposition parties, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the JanaSena, who are bad mouthing the YSRCP welfare schemes and spreading false propaganda.

Meanwhile, so far, under the scheme, 82,31,502 mothers have been given the financial assistance funds.  For the scheme, the YSRCP Government released a total amount of Rs. 19,617 crores.

The scheme was launched with the aim of ensuring education to the majority of children and helping single mothers and eligible beneficiaries so that they can send their wards to schools.
