On the the14th of November, Children’s Day, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, extended greetings to the children of Andhra Pradesh.

The birth anniversary of Dr. Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, is marked as Children’s Day in India.  On this occasion, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said, “చదువు, విలువలు ఇవే పిల్లలకు మనం ఇచ్చే గొప్ప ఆస్తి. సమాజ వికాసానికి వారే పట్టుకొమ్మలు. ప్రేమ, స్నేహం, సమభావంతో పిల్లలు ఎదగాలి. చిన్నారులందరికీ బాలలదినోత్సవ శుభాకాంక్షలు.

In another tweet, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said, “Children should grow up with love, friendship and equality. Happy Children’s Day to all children.”

Meanwhile, working to enhance the education system in Andhra Pradesh, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) launched the Nadu-Nedu Programme.  In addition, the government also launched various schemes for the underprivileged and weaker sections of society, so their children could get a better education.

The State Government under the leadership of Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, launched several welfare schemes including, YSR Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme, providing financial assistance to students of degree colleges for higher education.

The State Government also announced English medium education for primary and lower classes at state run schools, so that they could get a better education and be prepared for the competitive world.
