Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) on the 27th of May, conducted Mana Paalana Mee Suchana, a review meeting regarding the educational sector in A.P.

During the meeting, Mr. Reddy discussed the decision of implementing English medium in public schools and criticised the opposition for protesting against the english medium of class 1 to 6 in government schools.

The review meeting was conducted at the YSRCP camp office in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.

During the meeting, Mr. Reddy said, “English medium education, Amma Vodi and Jagananna Vidya Devena are the ambitious projects that will help children to dream big.”

Under the Amma Vodi and Jagananna Vidya Deevana scheme, many citizens of A.P., would get education free of cost.

Considering the infrastructure of the government school, Jagan Mohan Reddy announced to implement Nadu Nedu programme and enhance school infrastrucure with better benches, books, construction of washrooms and other necessary things.

The AP CM said considering the development of education in the world, the YSRCP Government decided to enhance the education system in the State and implement english medium for the students.

On the 23rd of March, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) issued an ordinance  implementing English Medium in all government schools of the State.

According to the ordinance, English medium would be mandatory for the students of class I to Class VI  in all the public schools in A.P.
