Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister (CM) of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 26th of September, met French industrialists.

The meeting was held on the morning of the 26th of September at the CM camp office in Tadepalli, Andhra Pradesh.  Approximately 13 members of the French delegation met Jagan Mohan Reddy to discuss a proposal to invest in the industry sector of Andhra Pradesh.  During the meeting, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) officials and the French delegation also discussed the need and benefit of the investment for the AP industries.

The French delegation came on a two day visit to Andhra Pradesh and is expected to return on the 27th of September.

According to sources, the French delegates were impressed with the proposal of the AP Government and the infrastructure in the State.  The French team is expected to invest in the dairy, automobile, electric grid automation and food processing fields of AP.

However, an official announcement regarding the contract between the AP Government and the French investors is yet to be made.
