Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) concluded his Delhi visit, on the 4th of January.

During the visit, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy met with several Union ministers and Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India. Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy visited Delhi on the 3rd of January, Monday. On the first day of his visit, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy called on Mr. Narendra Modi, the Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah, the Union Finance Minister Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman and Union Minister for Civil Aviation Mr. Jyotiraditya Scindia.

The next day, on Tuesday, the 4th of January, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister met with the Union Transport Minister Mr. Nitin Gadkari and discussed the construction of a national highway from Visakhapatnam to Bhogapuram. CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also pointed out that the roads of Visakhapatnam would go close to the beach corridor projects along the coast and explained that the construction of this road would greatly contribute to the development of tourism in the region. In view of the traffic congestion in Visakhapatnam city, CM Jagan asked the government to sanction a 6 lane road for future needs.

The CM also met with the Union Minister of Information and Sports Mr. Anurag Thakur and discussed several issues, including the development of playgrounds in Andhra Pradesh.

After concluding the two day Delhi visit, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy returned to Tadepalli, Andhra Pradesh, on the evening of the 4th of January.
