Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, visited Tirumalapuram and Narlavaram flood victims, on the 27th of July. 

During the visit, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy reviewed the flood control measures and praised the officials for working well in the flood-affected regions.  He said, “It has never been done with such transparency in the past.”

Furthermore, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) President Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy assured support of the YSRCP, the ruling party in Andhra Pradesh.  Moreover, he also directed the concerned officials to start the enumeration and asserted to provide financial assistance of Rs.10,000 each for those who have lost their houses. 

Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is touring the flood-hit regions in Andhra Pradesh, said that everyone who has suffered due to floods would be helped. 

Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a rain alert with heavy to very heavy rainfall in the Telugu State of Andhra Pradesh for the next three days, likely till the 31st of July.
