Vijayawada: Former MLA and senior TDP leader Buddha Venkanna staged a protest in the city seeking Vijayawada West Assembly ticket. Buddha Venkanna said that he was working for last three elections and always followed the instructions of Naidu and never spoke a single word against him.
Venkanna recently did ‘Rakta Abhishekam’ (Abhishekam with blood) to the photograph of Naidu and offered prayers seeking tickets. Budha Venkanna on Monday held a protest and said that he will act as lord Hanuman and always pray for the good of Naidu.
Budha said that he will stay in TDP until his last breath. “Leaders like Kesineni Nani, Kodali Nani, Vallabhaneni Vamshi scolded Naidu after they left the party. I’m not a person of that character. Naidu is the only hope for me and I will work for his well being,” Budha said.
He hoped that Jana Sena and Telugu Desam will win majority seats in upcoming elections and people who left the party now will regret.
