Visakhapatnam city of Andhra Pradesh ranked 9th in the top 10 richest cities of India.
The city of Andhra Pradesh stood 9th with a Gross Domestic Profit (GDP) worth 26 billion dollars.
Visakhapatnam is not only a city with good investments but performed well in the tourism and infrastructure department.
The survey of the top 10 richest cities of India was done by a private organisation.
Also the city has several enterprises such as Vishakhapatnam Steel Plant and Hindustan Shipyard, India’s oldest shipyards and other largest seaports and industries like GAIL, Vizag Steel and Hindustan Steel.
Moreover, it is soon going to be the IT hub of Andhra Pradesh.
While Visakhapatnam was on the 9th position, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Surat also were top 10 richest cities.
Meanwhile, India stood at 3rd position as oke of the richest countries with a GDP of $5 trillion.
In addition, Visakhapatnam also ranked in the top 10 cleanest cities, under the Swachh India survey.
