Vijaysai Reddy, a  Member of Parliament (MP) of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) and K. Lakshminarayana, the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) once again raged a Twitter fight.

During the past few days, both the leaders were having a verbal war over the purchase of rapid test kits for the Novel Coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh.

Recently, the Andhra Pradesh Government purchased from South Korea, 1 lakh rapid test kits  which would give COVID-19 results in 10 minutes.

However, the controversy started over the price of the Coronavirus rapid test kits, which is worth Rs. 730 each kit imported to A.P., from South Korea. Whereas the Chhattisgarh Government purchased the kit for Rs. 337 from South Korea.

Due to the variation in the price of the kits, the BJP State President  K. Lakshmi Narayana alleged the YSRCP Government of  corruption in the purchase of  the kits

In an answer to the BJP President of A.P., MP Vijayasai Reddy made serious allegations against Kanna Lakshmi Narayan’s criticism.  Mr. Reddy said Kanna Lakshmi Narayan sold himself to the Telugu Desam Party President Chandrababu Naidu for Rs. 20 crores.

Addressing a media person on the 21st of April, Vijaysai Reddy said, “I reiterate my remarks that Kanna had sold himself to TDP for Rs.20 crore and I have all evidence with me.  I never indulged in corruption and am ready to take oath at Kanipakam temple and also prostrate there. Will Kanna and Sujana Chowdhary do the same?  Kanna has misappropriated even his own BJP party funds.”

On the other hand, Lakshmi Narayan said, the YSRCP General Secretary Vijayasai Reddy is targeting him for speaking against the corruption that took place while purchasing the rapid test kits.

Mr. Narayana deemed the statement of Vijayasai Reddy to be a political game plan to tarnish his image in the State.

Meanwhile, Sunil Deodhar, the Affairs Co Incharge of the BJP in A.P., asked the YSRCP MP Vijayasai Reddy to tender an apology for his baseless allegations against K. Lakshmi Narayana.
