The third phase of Sundarakanda Akhanda Pathanam is going to be held on the 27th of August.

The pooja would be performed at Nada Neerajanam platform in Tirumala, Chittoor Andhra Pradesh.

This will be for The Third Time, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) is Conducting Akhanda Sundarakanda Pathanam.

The first one was performed on the 7th of July, where 211 Slokas from Prathama Sarga (First Chapter) were recited followed by rendition of 227 Shlokas from Dwitiya Sarga (Second Chapter) to Sapthama Sarga (Seventh Chapter) for the Second time on the 6th of August.

During the third phase, which is going to be held on Thursday, 182 Shlokas from Ashtama Sarga to Ekadasa Sarga (Eighth to Eleventh Chapters) will be rendered.

About 200 Vedic Scholars from Sri Venkateswara Vedic University, Rashtriya Sanskrita Vidya Peetham, Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham and others would participate.

The TTD has Commenced Sloka Parayanam in Nada Neerajanam Platform from the 10th of April 10 with a noble aim to waive off the ill effects of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 Virus across the world.

After the Darshan of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala resumed to pilgrims from June 11 onwards, TTD Commenced the recitation of Sundarakanda, one of the important chapters in the Epic Ramayana. In the TTD Published Sundarakanda, there are a total 68 Sargas (Chapters) comprising 2821 Shlokas.
