The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Executive Officer (EO) Mr. A.V. Dharma Reddy, launched a fully automated biochemistry machine at the Balaji Institute of Surgery, Research and Rehabilitation for the Disabled (BIRRD) Hospital, Tirupati.  The biometric machine is worth Rs. 5 lakhs, which was donated by the Sri Sai Pavitra medical services proprietor Mr. Katur Subramaniam. 

On the 18th of August, after the launch, Mr. A.V. Dharma Reddy directed the officials to configure a mobile app for the benefit of devotees, aiming for an advance reservation for outdoor patient (OP) consultations at the BIRRD hospital.  After launching the biochemistry machine, the TTD EO held a review meeting at the BIRRD hospital.  

After the meeting, Mr. A.V. Dharma Reddy addressed the media and said, as the patients are coming from all over India, such a state of the art mobile App would be helpful for them to register OP in advance.

Furthermore, Mr. A.V. Dharma Reddy directed the officials to purchase all required sophisticated equipment and the lab at the hospital. 

In addition, Mr. A.V. Dharma Reddy also asked officials to provide quality food to patients, set up a central UPS system and complete works for the automation of lab reports.  Mr. A.V. Dharma Reddy also asked the concerned hospital officials to call for tenders for procuring lab materials and blood bank equipment.
