The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) denied rumours of selling laddoos of the Lord Venkateshwara Temple online.

On the 13th of December, the TTD Trust Board issued an official statement and said, “The campaign on social media that laddus can be booked online through the TTD website is untrue.”

However, the TTD clarified that there could be a possibility to book limited additional laddus at the time of booking with the darshan ticket online through the TTD website.  However, the laddoos would be available to them offline, and booking online could be just with darshan.

Furthermore, the TTD also appealed to the devotees not to believe the campaign that laddus can be booked through the TTD website regardless of darshan.  The TTD said,  “According to the law, action will be taken against those who are spreading false propaganda.”

The TTD issued tickets for darshan of Rs. 300 on the 13th of December, which could be booked by devotees.
