Mr. Y.V. Subba Reddy, the Chairman of the Tiruamla Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD,) laid the foundation stone of Sri Balaji Oncology Hospital for cancer in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.

The foundation stone ceremony was held on the 25th of May, Thursday.  Furthermore, for the inauguration even, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, ordered to arrange pink buses for every district. T hese buses are for cancer prevention and tests and disclosed that screening would be conducted through pink buses in Chittoor and Tirupati.

Meanwhile, the new cancer hospital would be built at a cost of Rs. 124 crores.
