Megastar Chiranjeevi, on the 9th of June, said the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) approved TV and film shootings in Andhra Pradesh.
The decision was taken affter a meeting with the big Tollywood celebrities regarding the resumption of movie shoots in Andhra Pradesh.
After the Telangana Government approved TV and Tollywood film shoot, the Tollyood stars appealed to restart the same in A.P.
After the Tollywood delegation led by Chiranjeevi met with Y.S. Jagan Mohan reddy on the afternoon of the 9th of June.
Speaking to media, Chiranjeevi told the media that the CM has given permission for shootings from June 15 in Andhra Pradesh.
Mr. Chiranjeevi further said that the chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has reportedly suggested them to meet minister Perni Nani in regard to framing of guidelines.
Chiranjeevi said, “CM Jagan has responded positively to the growth of the Telugu film industry in Andhra Pradesh; he said that he was committed to developing the film industry in Vishakhapatnam,”
Later Chiranjeevi asserted he was delighted by the chief minister’s assurance over allotment of 300 acres, which was allotted by the late Chief Minister in Visakhapatnam.
