Telangana CS Releases Book Highlighting History And Culture Of Telangana

The Chief Secretary of Telangana, Mr. Somesh Kumar released a book on Telangana’s history, culture and movements at BRKR Bhavan.

During the launch event on the evening of the 29th of September, Thursday, Mr. Somesh Kumar noted that there is a need for research-oriented books comparing the State with the past.  The historic events described in the book are a testimony to Chief Minister Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao’s observation that every nook and corner of Telangana State has a historical background.

In addition, Mr. Somesh Kumar congratulated the authors Professor A Satyanarayana and D Satyanarayana for their analytical views and study of Telangana’s medieval and pre-medieval periods.

Notably, the released book would be useful for the students appearing for competitive exams, said Mr. Somesh Kumar.

Furthermore, the Telangana’s historic book launch was attended by the members of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and other officials of the State.
