Vijayawada: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is likely to declare the second list of candidates on Thursday. Sources said that party chief N Chandra Babu Naidu along with general secretary Nara Lokesh will declare the second list with 17 Lok Sabha and 50 MLA seats. 

Naidu did intense exercise on finalizing the candidates and conducted a few key meetings with AP TDP president Atchannaidu and others. Naidu spoke to a few aspirants who are not able to make place in the second list and assured nominated posts after winning the polls.

As the seat sharing process with Jana Sena and BJP completed peacefully, Naidu had focused on selecting able candidates. Meanwhile, a survey is going on in 94 assembly constituencies, where TDP announced the first list of candidates. 

Nara Lokesh and Naidu are monitoring the lists at regular intervals and warned that candidates will be changed at any time based on their performance.
