The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) National President criticized Chief Minister Mr. Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy for not abiding by the Andhra Pradesh High Court orders over Amravati capital issue.

The former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister asked Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to resign and sought fresh mandate on his 3 capitals if he was keen on his dangerous “3-card game”.  Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu said the High Court intervened just because the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government deliberately violated the ‘irrevocable agreement’ that it along with the CRDA reached with the Amaravati farmers.

The TDP President, addressed a press conference and said, Jagan Mohan Reddy’s disrespectful comments on the court in the Assembly session, marked a new peak in three years of ‘destructive politics’.   He said, the State Government disrespected the verdict of the HC, which upheld the fundamental rights of farmers, who gave 34,000 acres of their ancestral lands for developing capital for all 5 crore people of the State.

However, the YSRCP Government  unfortunately had no idea about the court being an independent entity under the constitution, therefore, the YSRCP is not following the judgment of the HC.

It is to be noted, the Andhra Pradesh High Court directed the Andhra Pradesh Government to work and construct Amaravati as the only State Capital of the State.
