The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs)

complained to the Speaker against Mr. Merugu Nagarjuna, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Minister.

Notably, the complaint of the TDP was against Mr. Merugu Nagarjuna’s comments about TDP MLA Mr. Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy.  The Nara Chandrababu Naidu led TDP demanded that the minister’s comments should be taken back and strict action should be taken against Mr. Merugu Nagarjuna.

The TDP leaders expressed their anger at the ruling party for mentioning the birth of the members and demanded the dismissal of Merugu Nagarjuna from the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet.

However, the Andhra Pradesh Government Chief Whip Mr. Gadikota Srikanth Reddy, denied the allegations against Mr. Merugu Nagarjuna, saying he did not make any derogatory comments.

Notably, the demand for an apology from the YSRCP Cabinet Minister Mr. Merugu Nagarjuna was made during the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Budget Session, which started on the 15th of September.

The TDP MLAs obstructed the house proceedings, demanding action against Minister Nagarjuna for speaking offensively about the birth of the TDP member Mr. Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy.
