The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) key leader Ganji Chiranjeevi joined the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) on the 29th of August, Monday.

The former TDP leader quit the party and joined the YSRCP in the presence of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.  After talking to the media, Mr. Ganji Chiranjeevi said that under the leadership of Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the state is developing in all fields. He said that the YSRCP is working hard for the development of the downtrodden sections.

Furthermore, Mr. Ganji Chiranjeevi alleged that TDP which claims to be the party of BCs, has no respect for the Backward Classes (BCs.)  He criticized that there is no respect for any social group including BC, SC, ST and minorities in TDP. He alleged that the majority of people in TDP belong to the same social class and expressed deep anger that he turned his back on NTR’s ambitions and deprived BCs in the party.
