The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) launched a new campaign called ‘Nalugella Narakam’ (Four years of hell) against the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.)

The new campaign was launched on the 26th of June, Monday, to highlight the injustice done to the people of Andhra Pradesh under the YSRCP Government.  During the one month campaign, the Nara Chandrababu Naidu led TDP would hold public rallies and protests in the State.

The campaign was launched officially with a video shared on Twitter.  Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the National President of the TDP released the video highlighting the injustice meted out to women,  increasing crime and violence against women under the Jagan Mohan Reddy Government.

The video mentioned major incidents of crimes against women including burning alive of a 10th class student and acid attack on a girl in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh.   In the video, Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu questioned the silence of Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, on horrific crimes like murder and rapes.

Notably, the opposition parties like JanaSena Party and the TDP are actively conducting campaigns and protests to highlight the failure of the YSRCP Government.  The constant efforts are said to be a major step towards the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections, in which the TDP and the JanaSena is all set to fight against the ruling YSRCP Government and form the government.
